Please note that our chick paper comes in pallets and there is a minimum order quantity of one pallet.

Our paper works by creating a rustling sound when walked on. The chicks use this noise to follow other chicks to the food and water source.

All our chick paper dissolves in the litter after the feed so farmers can avoid the hassle of cleaning up leftover tissue paper. We know cleaning up scraps of paper is a major inconvenience for farmers, that’s why our paper is specifically designed to degrade seamlessly into the litter.

Our standard length is 500 metres, but as we make-to-order, this can be adjusted to suit your preference (thus normal delivery is 14 days from receipt of the order).

The industry-standard blue colour is particularly popular amongst farmers in the UK.

The yellow colour is said to promote chick activity and attraction.

Some customers prefer our ecru crepe that is a pale brown colour. This crepe is also available 500mm and 1000mm wide.

Our grey crepe is sold at a competitive price to ensure our customers get the best deal.

Please bear in mind the soft crepe rolls are always plastic bagged; the other grades are normally supplied unbagged but can be bagged if preferred.

We make to order embossed and plain sheets for hatcheries, in a variety of thicknesses, to your specific size requirements.

The plain version can also be supplied in rolls for use as a general (shed or floor) covering.

Actual breakdown time will be affected by individual shed conditions (humidity, temperature, and type of heating), positioning of paper (distance to feeders and drippers), type and moisture content of litter, the number of chicks in the shed, chick health, and general weather conditions.
