STAX Converting has launched a new, economical ‘Chick Barrier Card’ solution for poultry farmers in the UK. 

The product is a cost-effective alternative to the single face corrugated card poultry farmers use to create a physical barrier for chicks.

The 300 mm high barrier prevents baby chicks from entering spaces as it is rolled out to a desired length and stood up to create a wall barrier.

Our alternative card is 25-30% cheaper than the conventional single-face corrugated barrier card used by poultry farmers.

That’s why many poultry farmers are switching to our Chick Barrier Card for a more cost-effective solution.

The sustainable card is made from recycled paper and can be easily recycled after use.

The product will feature at the British Pig and Poultry Fair this May 13 and 14. STAX Converting will be attending the fair at the NEC in Birmingham for the first time this year.

STAX Converting is also a well know supplier of degradable chick paper rolls – known as ‘Chirpy-Chick’.

The paper works by creating a rustling sound when walked on. The chicks use this noise to follow other chicks to the food and water source.

All the chick paper is designed to dissolve in the litter in 3-5 days, so farmers can avoid the hassle of cleaning up leftover tissue paper.
